The art of numptyism*

Eventually, I had an epiphany. I actually love being wrong, even though it cracks my confidence, because that’s the only time I learn. I actually love being lost, even though it fuels fears, because that’s when I go somewhere unexpected.**

Don’t give up on yourself,
There’s an awful lot of learning out there;
It’s possible to turn getting things wrong, being clueless or lost, admitting
incompetence, into great learning and a life of wisdom –
Some would say that it’s the only place to begin.

*”Numpty” is a Scottish slang term, primarily used in a lighthearted way, that means someone who is silly, foolish, or clueless;

  1. Weird it’s not letting me “like” your post. Just love the art, again. Cool quotes. I love this stuff. I love being wrong and not knowing stuff. It’s hard for most people to say “I don’t know”. But that’s the correct answer to most questions. I like to screw up and get lost. Most deep lessons and understanding come from breaking things. Lol. Thanks for sharing. The Wander Society would like this post. Like you said how can you ever get anywhere and have new experiences if you always know exactly where you are going and you’ve done it 100 times? Getting lost is the way to find something. Universe has a sense of humour

  2. You’re welcome and thank you 😊😊 I looked up what kintsugi is and it’s the coolest thing ever. Wow I got to buy some. The Japanese are geniuses
