Grit has two components: passion and perseverance … Enthusiasm is common. Endurance is rare.**

Okay, so we may have to
do other things to ensure an income, but,
What is the one thing you want to do –
Heart, soul, mind, and strength – and
nothing is ever going to stop you?
I’d like to hear more.

Mmmm, have to think about this.
Let me know you response when you come to it.
Let me know you response when you come to it.
Within the confines of loss of abilities from a stroke, I want to go on posting on my blog. I think we as humans have lost connection with ourselves, with others and with this earth we live on. Hugh Mackay, an Australian Social Researcher & Psychologist wrote about the relentless pursuit of happiness which he finds problematic. He prefers the idea of wholeness. Ed Halliwell, Mindfulness Teacher & Author, talks about much of the insanity of the world coming from people not knowing what to do with their feelings. Julia Baird, Australian Author & Journalist writes about finding awe, wonder and things that sustain you when the world goes dark, in her beautiful book Phosphorescence. So it is connection, quietude and beauty that move me. I’ve been feeling a little bit ho hum about my blog as so many are familiar with the words. I think I might take the next step and curate more often from people like you with similar interests but not in the mainstream, so new perspectives and approaches. Thank-you for prompting me to think about this Geoffrey.
